We were founded on a simple principle: put client needs before key performance indicators (KPIs). Our culture is laid back, professional, and realistic, fostering an environment where our team is empowered to provide enthusiastic, high quality support without the pressures of corporate bureaucracy.

Joining our Coordination team means becoming part of a close-knit group of professionals who are passionate about making a real difference. In this role, you have the autonomy to source and manage your own client portfolio, building lasting relationships and directly influencing participant outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional to contribute to a scaling organisation and help define a better, more personalised standard of care in the NDIS sector.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor NDIS participant plans, ensuring supports are tailored to individual goals and circumstances.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with participants, their families, carers, and a diverse network of service  providers.
  • Connect participants with appropriate mainstream, community, and funded supports, negotiating service agreements and arrangements on their behalf.
  • Proactively manage and monitor participant plan budgets to ensure funds are utilised effectively and sustainably.
  • Advocate for participants to ensure their rights are upheld and they have a voice in all aspects of their support journey.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for NDIS plan reviews, clearly articulating progress towards goals and recommending future supports.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records and case notes in compliance with NDIS Commission standards.
  • Navigate complex service systems and resolve points of crisis for participants, providing expert guidance and support. Generated with Champion Business Coaching Page 1 of 3.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Support Coordinator or in a similar role within the NDIS framework, with a proven track record of managing a client caseload.
  • Thorough knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Act, its operational guidelines, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective, trust-based relationships with participants with varying and complex needs, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high-level written communication skills for preparing clear, concise reports and professional correspondence.
  • Proven organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to autonomously prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and respond effectively in crisis situations.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • A relevant tertiary or vocational qualification in Disability, Social Work, Community Services, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with Client Management Systems (CMS) and a willingness to develop proficiency in new software.
  • An established network of contacts within the disability and community services sector on the Gold Coast would be advantageous.
  • Lived experience of disability or caring for a person with disability.

Conditions of Employment:
This is a part-time position with negotiable hours, based on the Gold Coast. The role offers significant flexibility, including work-from-home arrangements. Regular travel within the Gold Coast region is required to meet with participants, their families, and service providers. Therefore, a current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle are essential. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo and maintain all required pre-employment screening checks.

Benefits & What We Offer:
  • Flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home to support work-life balance.
